My story

“Ohhh Charlie!” has become a common phrase I hear in my foster home. I came to my foster home needing my severely injured tail removed, my skin condition managed, a few teeth pulled, to gain quite a bit of weight, and to realize I was safe and loved. Now that I am feeling a lot better I am ready to find a forever family who will enjoy my silly side and embrace my energetic personality. I love to run, go for very long walks, and play tug, but can’t wait to come back inside so I can plop in your lap and soak up all of the pets! I live for belly rubs and can’t stop my legs from waving in the air in excitement. My foster family taught me how to sit, lay down, stay, and I’ve been working on my leash walking. I love chewing on nylabones in my crate, and I even let my foster family know when I need to go outside. One thing you should know is that I am TERRIFIED of squeaker toys and those obviously evil squeakers should be removed from all toys before I play with them!

Charlie is the definition of a smiling, cuddly, energetic, 3 year old pup who has a lot of love to share and therefore needs to be the only pet in the house!

The adoption donation for Charlie is $300 .  This donation helps to cover veterinary expenses including spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations.

Wish Upon a Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, foster based animal rescue. If you would like to meet Charlie,  please complete our adoption questionnaire at www.wishuponarescue.org/adopt.
