My story

Meet Benny!
Benny is a sweet playful pup looking for his furever home. Benny is about 15 lbs, and 15 months old Min pincher/pug/chihuahua mix.
In his short little life Benny was mistreated and therefore developed a bit of anxiety and minor aggressive behavior. But don’t be mistaken this little guy will love his humans with all his might. Love and some training will go a long way with this little guy.
Benny is a bit timid at first, but once he’s settled in he will bring out that spunky personality. He’s a friendly dog that loves to play with his foster brothers. He gets along with dogs, older kids and snuggly adults. He can be shy and even a bit skittish at first, so he will need a little time to decompress and bring out that spunk. He is good on walks and a great snuggle buddy! He’s potty and crate trained, although he does not love being crated. Still we recommend he stays in a designated place at least until he learns the rules and boundaries of his new home. Benny likes squeaky toys and treats and chasing around with other puppers. He has the cutest underbite and will show his cute smile when begging for treats.
We prefer a home with another dog so that he has someone to play with, but he would do fine with just his human to love and cater to him also.
If your the family Benny has been waiting for and deserves please apply to adopt.

More about this rescue

Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue was born out of my love for small dogs and desire to help those in need, and in memory of the loss of a dear family member. Dealing frequently with small breed puppies and retired breeder moms, we strive to find homes that are aware of the commitment to raising a small breed dog and to the patience needed in socializing and housebreaking a retired breeder mom who has no idea what life in a home is all about. We are foster home based and are always looking for new foster homes to help us continue our love of rescuing dogs in need. We are happy to assist in owner surrender placements, especially those in need of surrendering their small dogs due to financial hardships, loss of a loved one, or dog owner entering assisted living facilities or nursing homes. We pride ourselves with a thorough search for that perfect home for a dog in need and follow up with phone calls to ensure things are going well. Tiny Paws will take back an adopted dog should the need arise within a reasonable notice and an available foster home has an open spot. Our goal is to someday own a building to house even more canine companions in need. We look forward to helping you find your family pet.
