My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a young 10, and has lived with his buddy Tyler. Max is a quiet, thoughtful dog. He likes to watch the birds in the yard. He has done both obedience and rally, and was started on the second level of AKC obedience (involving jumping and retrieving) but his mistress got tired. Max did learn a really handy trick. Tell him to "Take It" and point to almost anything on the floor...a piece of paper, a pen, a toy, a fork - and he will pick it up and bring it to you. Of course he expects a treat afterwards. He will make a senior a very useful fur friend - and he loves kids as well. Max' 'thing' is to make several wild, grunting runs around his l/4 acre yard...and then stop for a big drink. He's low maintenance, has a soft mouth and a loving disposition, and a gorgeous coat. He is so gentle that his owner would let him take cookies from her mouth sometimes... Max and his buddy Tyler were surrendered to American Brittany Rescue. Their owner is in the process of divorce and could no longer keep them
