My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fritz!

Fritz is a delightful, handsome chap whose life started out literally very bumpy. Specifically, he was tossed from a moving car as a kitten. Now that he's getting some confidence, Fritz likes to look out the window, chase a toy mouse, take a snooze on the back of the couch, or see what exactly are you doing with that _______ fill in the blank (ie. he's a bit nosey.)

Fritz starts off his stay with new folks by hiding & if you should catch his glance, you'll see saucer-wide eyes looking back at you. Scared as he was though, he never once showed an ounce of aggression. If you give him a few weeks, his beautiful, fun 'purrsonality' emerges. He LOVES to play. He absolutely can not resist the feather duster cat toy. He will perch up on his back legs like a prairie dog to take a swipe & it's a hilarious sight to behold (plus his markings on his underbelly are simply stunning). We call him 'Puppet' for a nickname because he really looks like one at times, especially when sitting in the cat tree/condo or trying to swipe at a cat toy. Fritz will often try to use Jedi Mind Control to get you to get out the cat toys. He stares hard at the top of the armoire where they are kept. He never misses an opportunity to swat at shoelaces so lace up your sneakers fast.

Fritz is an indoor only cat, and he has no interest in the outdoors after his unfortunate road trip. He has his claws & they need to stay in his paws so he may not be declawed. This cat's had enough trauma for nine lives at this point. He came in as a lithe, sleek cat but he's found that he loves to sample food (both from his own food dish as well as every other feline's dish in the house!) His fur is silky soft and he has a dashing pink nose & a classic Tuxedo coat. Fritz has excellent litterbox manners & while he does stretch out on things, he does not destroy anything with his claws. During play, he tries to be very careful not to scratch his people.

Fritz has been fully vetted including neutering, has tested negative for feline illness, so all he needs now is a good stable home & a toybox.

We do ask that interested adopters fill out an application so that we can make a good match. We do answer all adoption inquiries.
