Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Macy is a 5-year-old sweetheart with a calm, loving spirit. She’s a medium-to-low energy girl who enjoys going out for walks, car rides, and small adventures, but she’s just as happy relaxing at home and enjoying a cozy couch.
She does well with respectful kids and has an easygoing nature. Macy also loves meeting new people and making new human friends—she’s friendly, gentle, and enjoys positive attention. She would do best as the only dog in the home or with a calm male dog who matches her peaceful vibe. Macy would also thrive in a cat-free home, where she can feel relaxed and set up for success.
Because Macy didn’t have a consistent home growing up, she will need some time to decompress and adjust to a home environment. With patience, routine, and gentle guidance, she settles in nicely and begins to show her affectionate, loyal personality. Once she feels safe, she truly enjoys being close to her people and part of everyday life.
Macy is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can finally put down roots. In return, she offers quiet companionship, a loving presence, and a heart ready for forever. Adoption Fee: Waived This dog would greatly benefit from a foster home where they can continue to thrive and blossom. If you’re interested in fostering, please submit a foster application here: https://www.houstonhumane.org/volunteer/become-a-foster
