My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mindy, a charming 2-year-old Retriever mix weighing in at 55 pounds. Mindy's journey to find her forever home has been one of patience and resilience. Arriving at the shelter as a timid puppy, she found solace and guidance under the care of a nurturing foster mom. Through gentle encouragement and support, Mindy blossomed into a more confident and outgoing companion.
While she may still be a bit shy upon meeting new faces, Mindy's heart is brimming with affection for her human friends. She delights in basking in their attention and enjoys the company of older kids and other dogs. In fact, she dreams of a home where she can share her days with a canine companion, drawing inspiration and confidence from their interactions.

Mindy's exemplary behavior extends beyond her social skills. She is house and crate trained, making her a breeze to care for. With her easy demeanor on a leash and impeccable manners during car rides, Mindy is a delightful travel companion, always ready for new adventures.
In her downtime, Mindy finds comfort in her crate, quietly observing the world around her. It's within these moments of quiet reflection that her inner awesomeness truly shines. With just a little patience and understanding, Mindy's loving nature and intelligence will undoubtedly bring joy and fulfillment to any household fortunate enough to welcome her into their lives. Reach out to the shelter to learn more about this remarkable canine and the incredible journey she's embarked upon.

More about this rescue

We provide animal related services to our local communities. We are currently partnered with multipule cities to provide Animal Control and/or sheltering within their City limits. As part of our daily outreach we pick up stray animals and try to get them back to their owners. In any case where the owner cannot be located and the dog is adoptable we reach out to both the internet community and our local communities to find loving homes.
