Sisters Brooks & Dunn were found orphaned in Bedford at around 48 hours old. Brooks had been born with a genetic defect called Flat Chest Syndrome which made her appear as if she had been stepped on and flattened. She also seemed to have a problem with her right front paw, and a heart on the small side. Brooks is doing fine, but care must be taken to not exercise her too much. Her playtime will need to include time for breaks, so that she doesn’t get short of breath. Dunn is a normal kitten, and both were bottle fed by their foster.

Both girls love belly rubs and love to be petted. Brooks and Dunn are very affectionate once they get to know you. They are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. They both do great in their foster home with other cats and small dogs. A calm atmosphere would be ideal, so a home without small children would be best.
