My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Loulou - Your loyal, loving companion.
Loulou is a sweet and affectionate dog who`s ready to find her forever home! She gets along wonderfully with people.
Whether it`s cuddling on the couch or playing in the yard, Loulou`s friendly nature shines through. She has so much fun fetching her soccer ball and frisbee, she really enjoys the outdoors.

Loulou will thrive in a home that understands her needs and can provide her with the love, structure, and companionship she deserves. If you`re looking for a loyal, loving, and well-behaved furry friend, Loulou might just be the perfect match for you!

Likes: Going for walks and running with the e-bike or going for a jog. She loves to run.

Dislikes: Sharing food with other dogs. While Loulou enjoys the company of other dogs, she does have some food aggression around them. To keep mealtimes stress-free, she simply needs to be fed separately from other dogs. She`s perfectly fine eating around people though!

Special Consideration: She will take a few weeks to trust you and be secure and confident in her new environment. She needs someone that understands this and gives her time.

Dogs: Yes - She likes playing and chasing around the yard with her dog friends. She does great on walks with another dog.

Cats: No, she has lived with cats in her past but recently has started to chase cats.

Children: Yes, if they are teens, best with no young children, until she trusts them she may growl or nip if she doesn’t want them to touch her, they need to be old enough to understand the cues and respect them.

Kennel Trained: Yes, Loulou also loves her kennel-it`s her cozy retreat where she sleeps soundly at night and relaxes when her foster parents are away. If she wants a safe place to take nap she will go into her kennel with the door left open.

House Trained: Yes, she`s fully housetrained and has excellent manners indoors.

More about this rescue

Infinite Woofs Animal Rescue Society is a foster home based Animal Rescue located in Edmonton, Alberta. We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home unwanted, abused and neglected animals and find them their forever homes. We are different from other animal rescues in that we will try our best to not only help cats and dogs but any pet animal that has been unwanted, abused or neglected subject to our volunteers, foster homes and donations. This is one of the many reasons iwars needs you!

Infinite Woofs Animal Rescue Society is a no-kill animal rescue organization. We will help out any of the animals we take into care with any medical treatments, procedures and medications they may need. We will only euthanize when it is with a qualified veterinarians advice such as terminal illnesses where the animal is suffering. Every animal that comes into iwars is a member of the family.

We need volunteers to help in all different areas of iwars and with your help we can help to save more animals lives. We here at strive to save one animal at a time and acknowledge that "saving one animal will not change the world but surely for that one animal the world will change forever" - Unknown.
