COURTESY POST

Long-Haired Ragamuffin-mix Tuxedo Ready to be Adopted!

Hi, my name is Cactus. Life didn’t start out too well for me until the day I was rescued from a local school where I had been playing in the a tangle of blackberries with my siblings Tumbleweed and Agave. Now I am a very happy little puff ball that is holding my head high, and usually frolicking in several directions at once. I am a very energetic, curious, and affectionate kitten. I guess you would call that a well balanced personality. I love being around other cats and kittens because for some reason I just don’t enjoy being alone. I am usually pretty outgoing and can almost guarantee I will steal your heart away along with any other toy that another kitten happens to be playing with.

I am driven by my curiosity, and am quite a talker when I discover anything new. One of my favorite things to do is play with some type of ball; I can throw a ping-pong ball up in the air and catch it with my back feet while doing a 180 then a summersault. I also love chasing a ball that goes around on a on a track. When it’s time to turn my attention span to something else, I’ll also jump up for the fishing pole toy, or chase a crinkly toy or catnip mouse down the hallway. Aluminum foil has been a recent fascination. When I finally get tired out, I want to be on your lap and am ready for you to rub my tummy while I purr loudly and make little muffins in the air. I am usually very well-mannered and will even lick your hand or give you head butts when I want a little more attention.

He purrs loudly when he greets you, can be quite talkative, and is also very affectionate. However, you will have to have patience if you are looking for a lap cat as he is a little too energetic to sit still for very long. He will adjust well in a moderately active home where he gets lots of attention and will provide entertainment for your family for a very long time. He gets along well with cats but has never been exposed to dogs.

This kitten was born ~ 7/1/21 and has had all appropriate vaccines, is neutered, de-wormed, and microchipped. For more information, text Janet at 916-791-6387.
