Hello everyone, introducing Davey Crockett! Davey is a fully vetted Aussie Shepherd/Cattle Dog blend. He is 1 yr of age and weighs 45 lbs (still a bit thin, normal weight may be 55lbs).

Davey is fun, athletic, energetic, Velcro, and loving. He has settled nicely into a routine of playtime/kennel time. More than other fosters we've had this year, he brings fun, laughter, and puppy-like play. He listens well, learns quickly and is food and attn motivated. Davey gets along well with our entire pack of 6. He has never growled at any of our dogs, but too energetic for cats I think. Davey happily helps with farm chores, and doesn't wander. He is okay with our mare. Davey needs a loving place to land, either foster or adopt. He needs a fenced yard, and guidance. He would benefit from other energetic dogs to play with, who can teach him the ropes.

Davey was scheduled for euthanasia, but the day before that could happen, ASF broke him out of the shelter. I couldn't leave him to die, so offered to foster. He really loves life! We now have a dog undergoing cancer treatments, and also our mother has taken ill. It would help us so much if anyone would help him move forward.
