My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTION CURRENTLY PENDING!

Kashmir is an absolutely gorgeous, mysterious looking slate grey girl of about 2 years old as estimated by the vet. She reminds us of a Russian Blue and was taken in as a stray who was found on a farm so is most likely NOT a Russian Blue but she is certainly equally as exotic looking! Kashmir is EXCELLENT with other cats and kittens and she has also been introduced to a large, cat-friendly dog at the rescue which she also doesn't seem to mind being around. (Only calm dogs that will mind their own business for this girl!) Kashmir would make a great companion for another cat as she is very easy-going with other cats! Kashmir would most likely prefer a calm environment and will do best with someone who is willing to be patient with her because she can be a little socially awkward although she is very sweet, friendly, playful, and is a rescue favorite here! Kashmir has the cutest little meow-chirp when she gets comfortable with you and she tends to be vocal! It may be important to note that Kashmir was adopted out once before and was returned due to biting although she has never aggressively bitten us here at the rescue and has been with us for over 1 whole year. (We are not sure what actually took place in the home where she was said to have bitten in.) Due to this, it would be best if Kashmir went to a home with an experienced adopter who is committed to working with her and keeping her regardless of if she bites again in the future. We are not recommending a home with young children for this girl due to the potential for biting. Kashmir knows a better future is out there ahead of her and she is not giving up on finding it! She will continue searching "and stars fill her dream, she's a traveler of both time and space, as the dust that floats high in June, she's moving through Kashmir..." Kashmir will have been spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and microchipped at her time of adoption! Interested adopters can submit an application by contacting HobosHome2020@yahoo.com and we will send you the necessary form!
