My story

Frosty is the most loyal dog you could ever meet. He would make a great emotional support dog because he wants an emotional support person. He wants to be with you all the time. When left alone, Frosty will howl and cry in misery, pining for your return. As soon as he is with you he is happy and well mannered. He walks politely on a leash, is easy to bathe, rides well in the car and is house trained. He just doesn't want to be left behind. Of course, if he has a good doggie buddy he doesn't complain if you leave, even if he misses you. He just doesn't like to be alone. Born in December of 2019, Frosty weighs 55 lbs. He likes female dogs of all sizes and plays well with his doggy buddies. But dogs, as great as they are, can't replacement his person. So, if you want a handsome, loving, full-time companion, he is perfect! You couldn't ask for more love and loyalty than what Frosty has to offer. So, welcome this boy into your home and into your heart. If you do, he will love you forever!

Additionally pets are taken twice monthly to pet store for adoption events. Dates and locations are posted on our website and Facebook page.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
