Bonded Brothers, 1 yr 3mo old, Jack Daniels (JD) and Jameson may appear inebriated, but their swagger is all natural. They were born with a mild non-progressive, non-terminal condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia,
JD is the more outgoing and adventurous of the pair. He didn’t take long to warm up to his foster and his new housemates (dogs included). He’s a sweet, gentle soul and has just recently learned to ask for a lift into mom’s lap so he can get some snuggles. About once a day he’ll get amped up playing with the kittens, and zoom a lap or two around the living room. His mobility and dexterity has much improved from when he came out of the shelter. He was underweight and emaciated, and his feet often fell out from under him. Now he navigates the stairs and even gets himself onto the couch for a snooze. His spirit and love for life has pushed him to grow stronger and more independent everyday.
