Honeybun is a light grey, male cockatiel. We do not know how old he is. He is not tame. Honeybun will need to be adopted with one of the other cockatiels that came from the same home. He can be adopted by himself, if potential adopters already have a cockatiel. His upper and lower beak overgrows. He will need beak trims periodically. The beak trims will be covered by the Burge Bird Rescue. His adoption fee is $20.

Our birds are not available for breeding and we do not ship birds, so you must travel to our south Kansas City area facility. Potential adopters must email us at BurgeBirdRescue@yahoo.com or call 816-356-4700 for an appointment, fill out an adoption application, and pass a screening interview to ensure that our birds are going to a safe home. There is usually a 48 hour waiting period after your interview before you are allowed to adopt because we want people to take time and think thru their decision. All birds come with a 30 day health guarantee and return policy, and have been examined and tested by our avian veterinarian.
