My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Butterfly! A 30 pound terrier who was rescued by Addicus along with her litter of pups. Now those puppies are in their forever homes while she awaits hers.
Butterfly is looking forward to a peaceful setting with a low-key home with another dog where she can learn to settle in and trust. She is timid with every new person she meets but no doubt will warm to females quicker than males. She does warm up however when the right male comes around. Someone willing to continue to work with her equally in the household (feeding, walking and playing) so that she learns that all of her people love her. Her foster's husband has won her over and this is because he has patiently waited while she has adjusted.
Butterfly's foster has also worked on her basic obedience skills. She knows to walk on a leash now, she's learned to "stay, sit" and knows the words "no" and "down".
At just 10 months old and having such a rough past, Butterfly is still in some ways a puppy. She will chew so we recommend a good stock of chew toys or bones to keep her occupied through this stage.
Butterfly is fully house trained and sleeps comfortably at night in her crate. We look forward to someone providing this fragile soul a stable home.
