My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Before being rescued by her foster from a busy street, Pumpkin survived on garbage while people bustled by, never giving her a second look. She was in pretty rough shape, had only a few teeth left, her eyes were cloudy from age and at the senior stage in her life (10) she still needed a spay.

Pumpkin has been groomed, doctored and loved since those days of being found. Our wonderful Dr. Mockler has treated the fistulas in her mouth that were caused from tooth decay, she got her long overdue spay and has been cleared for take off to her future forever home!

This little lady is on a soft food diet and has an excellent appetite! She is comfortable around kids and adults and has done well with meeting dogs of all sizes and personalities. Her favorite place is on your lap and come bedtime, she snuggles close. She will be your silent shadow everywhere you go.

This girl loves being groomed, nails- not so much. She's excellent on a leash and she is slowly building up her stamina for longer walks.

At the age of 10 Pumpkin still has a lot of life left to live. She proves it every day with her strong will and love of her people. We look forward to finding her a devoted home so that she can finally relax, settle in and just be her loving self.
