Meet BROWNIE BOY... DOB est 5/15/2021, male, neutered, brown tabby & white, vaccinated...
BROWNIE BOY is a bit of a special needs boy, but he's quite the life of the party!! He loves to race around a room to get everyone's attention, then sleeps hard after playing hard! This handsome boy was found in the shed of a home in New Hope, where a volunteer was helping a hospitalized neighbor. He was in pretty poor condition and it was uncertain if he would survive... With loving care by a vet and in his foster home, BROWNIE BOY turned the corner and has been doing wonderfully!! He's active, sweet, nosy, loving.... He does have a health issue that will eventually need attention however... This sweet boy has gum disease that will most likely cause him to need his teeth removed after he's about a year old. Before he becomes one of our "sanctuary cats" - meaning one that will receive care from us long-term as we abandon none that come under our care... we do want to see if there is a potential Forever Home out there he could join. As an active youngster, he'd be happiest joining a Family where another young kitty already lives. Email if you'd like to be put in touch with BROWNIE BOY's foster mom! You may also call her directly with the number above.

More about this rescue

Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a 501-(3)(c) non-profit charitable organization. Our primary purpose is to manage the feral cat population in our area by trapping, neutering/spaying and re-releasing (TNR) cats back into their original territories. We also work to provide safe temporary homes for cats that are homeless, unwanted, abandoned or lost. Some of our animals have been rescued from dangerous conditions and cannot be released back to their original territory...these animals are housed in foster homes until permanent loving homes can be found. The majority of these animals are friendly abandoned pets, that are not feral, and we offer these loving and grateful animals for adoption here on Petfinder and also at Petsmart in Jones Valley, Huntsville, AL. We also provide help to people who are elderly, disable, financially challenged and those who love their animals but cannot provide them with the necessary care.

Our Mission...

(1) Control feral cat populations through neutering/spaying
(2) Educate the public about about proper pet care and responsibility, especially neutering/spaying and advising about pet behavior and medical issues that often result in families giving up their pets
(3) Humanely remove and relocate ferals when possible
(4) Adopt out loving, grateful animals into permanent forever homes
(5) Raise necessary funds to build a shelter for rescued cats
