Our adoption fees are low, with adoption specials all the time to encourage adoption over other means of acquiring an animal, and to bring people into the shelter. When coming in to adopt, please bring your drivers license or other state-issued photo ID, and, if you rent, a copy of your lease showing that pets are allowed. Please print out our adoption application form from https://dallascityhall.com/departments/dallas-animal-services/Pages/adoption.aspx and fill it before coming to our shelter. We have our application in English and Spanish. If you forget to bring it, we will have applications at front desk.
