Coco Puff (looks like Lab/Border Collie Mix) was surrendered to us by an owner who could not properly care for her. At the time of surrender, she was missing hair in large areas of skin trauma; the cause could not be determined. While it may take some time for Coco to trust again, she loves hard once given the chance. This precious girl deserves a home full of love and patience. Coco Puff's estimated DOB is 9/3/2018; and she weighs about 45 pounds. It is unclear if Coco is completely house trained. She walks great on a leash.
HSPC's adoption fee is currently reduced from $100 to $75 unless stated otherwise within the pet's description. Every pet that is available for adoption has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, wormed and is up-to-date on vaccinations including heartworm preventative (canines). Adopters are required to schedule a wellness exam with their veterinarian at their cost within 7 days of adoption. We are currently closed to the public and we will only respond to inquiries accompanying an application submitted through warmhearts.org/adopt.

The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.

Adopters are screened to see if they can provide the basics of care for the animals, proper housing, and continued veterinary maintenance; and have no history of animal abuse or irresponsible ownership.

We receive no city, county or state funding, nor are we affiliated with any other organization. We have been rescuing animals since 1946, and have been in our present building since 2000.
