Meet Princess Leia, Her mom went into hospice and the family did not want to take her dog in.
Princess Leia found herself alone, scared and in a shelter with lots of other abandoned dogs.
We scooped her up and put her into a foster home in New Port Richey. She is still a little timid when you meet her at first but give her 20 mins and she will come up to you for pets. She does not like little children poking at her eyes or pulling her ears so we do recommend that she is best for a home that has children over 10 years old. She loves going for walks and spins around when you show her a leash. If you would like to meet this pup please go to RescueADog.org website and under the Adoption Application tab fill out the Jotform online adoption application.
