My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bailey is a super handsome 11 month old Goldador (Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever) who was surrendered to a local animal control officer by elderly owners who were no longer able to care for him.

Bailey is a typical playful, energetic Lab who loves toys and playing with other dogs. His ideal home would have another active dog and/or active people who will make sure he gets lots of exercise. We also want to be sure his forever family can see beyond his wildly handsome exterior to the young-at-heart puppy that he still is inside. He has pretty good manners since he had basic puppy training (he knows sit, down, paw) but his new owner should continue training so he can grow to be the best dog he can be.

Bailey is a young pup with a zest for life so would be best placed in a home with kids 10 years and up. He is good with other dogs, untested with cats. Bailey is about 60 pounds, up to date on shots and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

Bailey's first birthday is on February 7. We know he's wishing for a forever home for his birthday! If you think you have the perfect home, please complete an adoption application on our website at http://www.baystatedogs.com/adopt.html (you can complete the online or Word version - your choice). In addition to the written application, the adoption process includes a phone interview, references check, home visit, adoption contract, and adoption fee.

Email messages that include an application will receive priority.
