My story

ACAMPO, CA (near Lodi): Hi there! My name is Gretchen. Did you know that the name comes from the word meaning “pearl?” As you know, pearls are quite precious, and I’d like to think that I am pretty precious — plus I have the cutest little pearl-shaped white spot on my nose. I also have a super cool “ticked” coat with fabulous brown tabby markings.

I’m a pretty mellow kitty most of the time and like to hang out with my foster mom - except for during playtime! Then I can pounce with the best of them, just watch: https://youtu.be/5zxIPWE0_CQ I adapt fairly quickly to a new place, especially if you pet me, which I really love!

I love to play with all sorts of toys and enjoy romping with other cats. I would also be fine as the only kitty in the house. Really, as long as you pet me, I’m a happy camper.

I was born in August 2019 and have been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FELV, and am up to date on all my shots.
