This handsome scruffy little guy is Delta! Him and his brother Jax arrived into our care as local owner surrenders and they are looking for a place to call their own! Delta is 1.5 years old, under 25 pounds, and is a terrier mix. He is crate trained but does whine at first, and is working hard to master his potty training so would do great with a family that is willing to help him get there. Delta is full of spunk and always ready to play! He does great on walks, loves to be outside, and responds really well to corrections from his humans. This happy little pup is looking for an active household who can show him the ropes. He does great with other dogs and older kids, but has not been around the cats in his new foster home yet (although he seems very interested). He would do best with another dog in the home.
Delta’s all time favorite activity is snuggling with blankets and is looking for a family of his very own to snuggle with! His ideal home would have a strong handler that will be able to work with him on building boundaries and rules that his original home did not provide him with.
