Rio was bonded to his brother but they were housed in a cage that was too small for them (which is why adequate cage size is so important) and after a few bad fights, they were unable to be rebonded. Rio's brother found a buddy and about two years later we are thrilled to have finally paired Rio up with Tater Tot, the cutest little spud born into the rescue on 2/9/22.
Rio is around 3 years old and he's a mellow and friendly boy, he looks like a delicious candy bar with his chocolate and tan coat.
Tater Tot has been handled since day one so he is a lot less wiggly than most babies his age, he has a sweet temperament and is the loudest wheeker in the joint! He will need some special care until he is about 6 months old but we can help with that if you don't have prior baby experience.
If interested please fill out an application.
Rio & Tater Tot are being fostered in Los Angeles.
*In the photo above, Tater Tot had a long day traveling up from Orange County and being a baby, he just couldn't keep his eyes open anymore lol.
