My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed

Bruce is an energetic, 4-year-old, classic marbled tabby. He was found outside homeless, thin, and suffering from flea and mosquito allergies. Now, Bruce enjoys the indoor-only life, with unlimited access to caring people, food and toys. He plays great with toys, both independently and interactive, and is especially fond of catnip. He is a chatty companion with his fosters and is a master at head-bonking. He is FIV positive but is in perfect health and can live a long, full life indoors. He would do best in a home with experienced adult cat parents and older children. He would also need one or more high-energy, cat-friendly feline companions. He has not been dog-tested, but he may do well with a cat-friendly canine buddy.

Dallas Cat Rescue, dba Cat Matchers is an all-volunteer 501c3 organization dedicated to reducing the number of homeless animals. We will accomplish this:

through programs to rescue, spay/neuter and adopt out animals in need.
by supporting spay/neuter programs to try and reduce the number of animals that are euthanized each year or left homeless.
