My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BRUNO is an almost 2 year old (estimated DOB 10-21-21) pit bull mix, who was rescued from a dangerous situation with his siblings and other dogs. He is a super sweet and active pup! Looking for a family that can keep up with an active dog and give him the RDA of mental and physical stimulation that he needs. We require a general obedience class of your choice as a part of the adoption to get everyone started in the right paw. Bruno prefers to be an only pet and loves people but seems wary of young kids so, while he is learning and gaining confidence, an adult-only home would be best. Bruno is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Apply to adopt at www.companimals.org. Adoption $250.

Go meet their pets

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

More about this rescue

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.
