Rocky is a handsome, big flame point Siamese mix that absolutely loves toys and to play. His eyes are a beautiful blue color. This sweet guy is special needs. He came from rural Missouri all beat up. He ended up testing positive for FIV. FIV is a condition of the immune system. Many cats live long healthy lives with FIV. However Rocky is also diabetic but in remission. This means he is not on insulin at this time. He may need insulin down the road though. He also has a heart condition and gets medicine once a day for it. Rocky is looking for a very special caring person, well versed in cat health, that can give him a forever home.We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. Our adoption fees:
Cats range from $150 to $175. Exotic breeds may be more.
Dogs range from $250 to $350. High demand puppies and small dogs may be more.
This fee includes: felv/fiv/heartworm testing, worming, flea and ear mite treatments, age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, lab work, dental or other medical or surgical treatments as deemed necessary by our team of veterinarians and a microchip with free registration.

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.
We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
