Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Handsome Otto was bought from a breeder as a baby (born in 2014) and then tied to a tree for 3 years, when the buyer starting having kids. Then a neighbor saved Otto but he just put him in his backyard and had his sister come every day to take care of Otto. So except for the daily visits from his "auntie" and occasional visits from her two dogs, Otto has been pretty lonely. Now, Otto's owner decided that he no longer wants him and he has to be out of his home by February 7th. We are hoping to find Otto a home where he will be loved and cherished. Otto is in good health overall. He has a mild heart murmur which was checked with a cardiogram by our cardiologist and she predicts him to have a happy and long life. She does not think, Otto will be affected and he does not need any medication. Otto is super affectionate and sweet. He is protective with strangers entering his property so he will need to be in a calm, adult home with yard access. He does great on walks and would love to snuggle up on a soft dog bed. Will you give Otto a loving home? Please keep in mind that black dogs have the hardest time to find a home and please give this cutie a chance!
