Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Felix is a big friendly boy who can't wait to meet you and join your home. He is very playful and outgoing. He loves catnip, treats, and being brushed. Felix weighs about 11 lbs, is 6 years old, and is FIV positive. What this means is that Felix must be adopted into a home in Kansas (per state laws), must be an indoor only cat, and he must be the only cat in the home or must go to a home with other FIV+ cats. He would be happy in either circumstance as he loves affection from his humans. He loves to cuddle and even knows how to sit for a treat! Felix is the perfect combination of quirky and playful and is just the right amount of independent. He loves his pets and will let you know when he wants his alone time. He can’t wait to find his new family!
FIV is an immunosuppressive virus found in cats worldwide. It is not contagious to humans or dogs. There is no medication needed or added expense to own an FIV cat. They can live full, happy, and healthy lives!
If you are interested in meeting Felix, please fill out an application via our website at https://therescueproject.net/adoptionapplication and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. If you have further questions please feel free to reach out to us at adoptionstrp@gmail.com.
Felix's adoption fee is $75 and includes age appropriate vaccines, neuter, microchip, and testing for feline leukemia.
