Meet Buddy and Phantom, a bonded pair of cats who have been patiently awaiting a forever home for over two years. Their story is one of enduring companionship, filled with playful antics and gentle moments. Despite their irresistible charm and enchanting personalities, Buddy and Phantom have yet to find a place to call home.

Phantom, a perpetual kitten, exudes spunk and energy, though she remains shy around new faces. Yet, her sweetness unfolds through playful antics, bird-watching, and endearing chatter.

Buddy, the embodiment of joy, seeks nothing more than friendship. His gentle nature and genuine wonder make him a constant source of warmth. He dreams of spending his days snuggling and sharing moments of happiness with a loving companion.

Their tale is woven with threads of patience, aching longing, and an unwavering hope for a family to embrace their extraordinary connection. If you're prepared to unlock the door to a pair that guarantees to weave love and laughter into the fabric of your days, consider inviting Buddy and Phantom to become cherished characters in the timeless story of your life, granting them the gift of a forever home.

Go meet their pets

Our shelter is in north Fargo, near the Yunker's Children's Museum, located just off of University Dr. on 28th Ave. N. We are open Monday-Friday from 11am-7pm, Saturday from 10am-6pm and Sunday 12pm-4pm. We have adoption events throughout the year, and you can find more information on our website at www.homewardonline.org or our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/HomewardAnimalShelter.

More about this rescue

We are a small shelter that rescues pets from local impounds whose time is up, and would otherwise be euthanized. Because we only have 9 dog kennels and 17 cat kennels, we are very limited on space and often, we can't take in owner surrenders, but will do our best to help people in rehoming their pets. We offer several services besides adoption, including microchip clinics, pet-friendly rental housing listings, and Safe Paws (foster care for the pets of domestic violence). We are the only shelter in the FM area that rescues both cats and dogs, so without our help, hundreds of dogs and cats would be euthanized each year in local pounds.
