We are currently accepting applications for Penny,

Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.

Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.

All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, and a home visit.

Our Adoption fee is $395.00.

All our dogs are completed vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Penny is 9 years of age. Due to a change in living arrangements, Penny is an owner/surrender. She does well with all adults, children and dogs and cats. We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard, a family who has at least one member that is a stay-at-home or works from home, or another playmate fur-sibling, for Penny.

Penny is on a daily medication pill for her thyroid. These meds have a cost of approximately $17.00 for three and a half months.

Penny has a scheduled veterinarian appointment to repair her cherry eye and to have a full dental. She will be available for meet and greets after recovery.
