Gus: tan/brown/black tabby, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/1/21, #17222 Call: gray/black/tan tabby, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/1/21, #17223
Cats: bonded & do well w/others Dogs: no thank you Children: respectful kids
***Bonded Pair** Named for two characters from the popular mini-series Lonesome Dove, these boys crave adventure. They charmed their previous adopters with their rugged good looks and gentlemanly manners but cat allergies in the family brought them back to us. After a quick vet checkup and sitting high in their saddles, they have begun galloping full steam ahead in search of a new place to hang up their cowboy hats once and for all!
Like most cowboys, these two are hardworking felines and physical activity is an important part of their day. Sprinting after balls, leaping after feather wands, chasing the laser dot and roughhousing with each other are favorite activities. During down time, they like to gaze out windows watching the birds and curl up together to snooze until you are available for more fun and bonding. ---Gus is an outgoing and tenderhearted guy who readily meets others in search of interaction and affection. He is an easygoing fellow with a soothing purr to take your stress away. Gus adores his people and his brother. Nothing will give him more joy than everyone hanging out together for playtime and cuddle time! ---Call is also incredibly friendly and social once he discovers he is safe and loved in his new environment. He likes to assist at the food station and also while you clean his litter box. When not occupied as your helper, he explores and keeps track of his toys. Whenever he gets the opportunity, Call will climb in your lap and reach up to nuzzle his face in your neck. He just can't get enough of you! ---Gus and Call MUST be adopted together.
These handsome dudes do well with other kitties and could easily blend into a household with cat friendly residents. They have lived with a large friendly dog but were always uncomfortable with him even over time. We believe they would really enjoy the attention of respectful children.
Won't you welcome these twin wranglers into your life and home? You will happily ride off into the sunset with two loving companions!
