*** Jason, Damien, Barbie, and Cassie are at our PetSmart Encinitas adoption center. ***
Jason: black/brown tabby, short hair, neutered male, born 1/10/24, #18896 Damien: black/brown tabby, short hair, neutered male, born 1/10/24, #18897 Barbie: black/brown tabby, short hair, spayed female, born 1/10/24, #18898 Cassie: black/brown tabby, short hair, spayed female, born 1/10/24, #18899
Other cats: best with a sibling and/or friend! Dogs: unknown Children: unknown
One day, a person brought a heavily pregnant cat into a pet supply store, set her on the grooming counter, then turned around and walked out. A Good Samaritan who was in the store at the time rescued the abandoned mother-to-be and called The Rescue House. Mama Selena gave birth to these four beautiful babies only a few days later. They have known nothing but love!
Jason, Damien, Barbie, and Cassie are calm and well-adjusted kittens... welcome to tabby town! ---Jason is ready to take charge at a moment's notice. He is observant, always ready for a good romp with a littermate, and was very protective of his mom. Jason likes to cuddle and be hugged by his human, and if nobody's paying attention to him he might just walk up your back! ---Damien is a well-mannered gentleman with a charming personality. He always wants pets and cuddles from his humans. He is adept at jumping and moving around small pieces of cat furniture... lots of exuberance in this boy! ---Barbie takes after her mother: she is courteous, gentle, and quite the love bug. She is happy to engage in play with her siblings, but if not actively playing then she's very poised and is content to relax in good company. ---Cassie is an observer, preferring to watch others play and content to be a spectator more than participate in a melee. She'll play with the right motivation, but Cassie is her own kitten, choosing the times she'll engage with the rest of the litter.
The kittens would ideally be adopted with a sibling companion or into a home with a welcoming resident feline. They have not met dogs, though if given a slow and proper introduction may be fine with cat-savvy canines. They have not met any children while in foster care, though they are young and adaptable and if gently handled by respectful kids they could do well.
Who doesn't love a tabby? There's a loving stripey future ahead for their forever people... maybe you?
