My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approx DOB: December 2014

Reggie (ID#21245) has been in his foster home since December when he was brought in with many others from a very large colony of cats, many friends whom had been abandoned. He was head shy from being chased and shooed away by humans and was even nervous of the cat wand when it was moved too quickly, but he so badly wanted to let his guard down and trust again.

Fast forward 8 months and Reggie has made such huge strides. He loves his foster mom so much and is great with the other cats in his home, although sometimes is known to be bullied by the other cats and would do best in a home where he wouldn’t have to worry about that, or with just one other feline friend who would accept him. He would be fine in a home with an older calm dog as well.

Reggie would make someone a fantastic companion to talk to and spend time with. He does like to play but overall is a pretty low-key guy. A home with no small children would suit him best as their fast movements may remind him of when he was chased by people. Reggie is a gentle soul who was dealt a bad hand in life and is looking for a family that will now love him forever.

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80

Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations.

If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.

Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care.
