Michael is a 6 weeks (as of 02/03/22) old American Pitt Bull Terrier puppy. He was taken to the shelter at just 5 weeks of age after five of his siblings died. Shelter staff saved four of the puppies and Legacy Humane stepped in to take the puppies in! The surviving puppies were given angel names in honor of their 5 angel siblings.
Michael loves to be played with, enjoys belly rubs, and is very social. He is in love with his foster dad but loves all people. Puppies at this age will require patience and training to become the best pup they can be. He is working on potty training and, given a potty schedule, he does very well for his young age. Michael does well with kids old enough to understand puppy behavior (~8ys and up). He does well with other dogs and cats. He responds well to corrections from dogs and cats and curtails his behavior accordingly. He would do best in a home with a yard.

Due to his young age, Michael is available for pre-adoption with a go home date of 2/10/22.

We are requesting a donation of $325 for the adoption which includes his neuter, three rounds of puppy vaccines, a rabies vaccine, microchip with registration, dewormer and a single dose of heartworm preventative. Adopter will take puppy to an LHS approved vet to be neutered in April of 2022 per the spay/neuter agreement and in accordance to Chapter 828, Texas Health and Safety Code.
