My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jelly! Sweet Jelly wanted us to let you know that she is so excited to meet her forever family. While in HSEC's care Jelly has made so many friends with staff and volunteers. Something she enjoys is going on adventures and playtime. Jelly is considered a medium-high energy dog so she will need someone willing to keep her active to ensure she is happy. If you are looking for a companion who will love you endlessly Jelly could be the one for you.

Jelly has been in a foster and this is what they have to say about her ""Jelly is the cutest, sweetest dog ever!! At the end of the day, after her zoomies, there's nothing Jelly wants more than to snuggle up with you and show you all her love. Jelly is the perfect mixture of cuddly and playful. She does well when she gets lots of exercise because she's got a lot of energy for such a small girl! Jelly can be a little nervous about new people coming around at first, specifically men, but she warms up quickly and will be everyone's best friend!"

They also say that she is house trained and starting to do much better in social situations around other dogs! If you are interested in meeting this happy girl please fill out an adoption application on our website

More about this rescue

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
