My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ocracoke is an absolute ball of energy and cuteness. This puppy is always ready for an adventure and loves to explore the world with her wagging tail and playful spirit. \Ocracoke is not just a furry friend but a bundle of joy that will bring endless happiness to your life. Ocracoke lights up any room she walks (or, more accurately, runs into) and makes sure to stop and give lots of kisses and cuddles along the way! She has recently been in foster and did absolutely amazing! This pretty girl is still getting a handle on potty training and would thrive with routine and consistency. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion, Ocracoke is the perfect addition to your family!

More about this rescue

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
