My story

Hi!  I’m Mork.  I’m a 10-month-old, blue-eyed Retriever mix.
My sister, Mindy, and I were found as feral puppies when we were about 9 weeks old.  The nice folks at the shelter found us and gave us a safe, warm place to stay with regular feedings and toys!  I don’t know how long my sister and I were on our own, but it was terrible and scary.  We didn’t know about people, toys, how to feed ourselves or anything else.  Sadly, we were both sick, skinny and had mange.😪

After a few weeks at the shelter our health improved so we both went to a foster home where we could run and play and learn more about trust.  I am still on the timid side, but I get braver every week.  Because I am still uncertain about some things, I will need a special home where there is lots of patience as I continue to learn about the world and people.

While I would love for my sister and I to be adopted together, I know that may not happen so I would love a new fur-brother or fur-sister to help teach me and play with me as I do still have plenty of energy!  So a yard big enough for us to run and play would be awesome!  I will need help to learn more about potty training. . . there’s so much to learn about the world!!  🤪

I would probably do best in a home with older kids as little ones scare me.
I know I maybe a bit of a project but I will eventually be the best fur baby ever!  My foster mom says I am sweet and smart. . . not to mention handsome. . .I just need love and patience with a forever home and family.

Thank you have a spot in your heart and home to love me forever??

More about this rescue

We provide animal related services to our local communities. We are currently partnered with multipule cities to provide Animal Control and/or sheltering within their City limits. As part of our daily outreach we pick up stray animals and try to get them back to their owners. In any case where the owner cannot be located and the dog is adoptable we reach out to both the internet community and our local communities to find loving homes.
