My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Babs is a very shy but sweet girl. She’s had a rough past year and is still a bit leery of new places, but, all she really wants is a home to get settled in and call her own. Once she has some time to adjust, she becomes a very affectionate young lady who purrs as soon as you start petting her. When you scratch her booty, it pops up like a jack in the box, which is how she tells you she’s enjoying it. She will lean into head pets and will roll over and show you her belly to pet once she knows and trusts you. She would do best in a calm environment with a patient family willing to invest some time in letting her get comfortable. Once she blossoms and decides to be your friend, it is one of the most rewarding experiences. She gets along well with other cats but would prefer a home without any dogs. She is looking for her forever home and hoping you will open up your home and heart to her!

Additional adoption info

We understand the One Love application process may seem tedious, but, most One Love animals have been rescued from traumatic situations or have faced severe health issues. All of them have needed much love and attention from the One Love team to get them where they are today, ready for adoption! They have all been cared for in our foster homes where our team of volunteers works one on one with each animal to ensure they become happy, healthy and comfortable. We care very much for each and every animal that comes through our doors and we do everything we can to make sure they find homes that are the best possible match for their unique personalities.
