Hello I'm Tamara. I'm a beautiful sleek black mini-panther pair-bonded with my sister Tia (A49434443). We are very pretty girls who are looking for my purr-fect home! We are definitely a little bit shy. All we need is a little bit of patience and love, and we can learn to not only trust people, but also become your best friends! We have lived in foster care before so we will be more comfortable in a home rather than the shelter.

We need a quiet and calm home where we can take our time to learn how to live alongside people. Our new family should be very cat savvy and have an understanding of cat body language and behavior. We love to be affectionate, but we need to be the ones who starts the interaction.

Kids: We have never been around children so we would probably do better in a home with children 15+.

We are pair bonded and must go home together but have been living with roommates at the shelter and we would be fine having another feline friend (or two) already in the home.

To adopt a pet from the SPCA of Texas, we not only help make love connections, but we then walk you through an adoption process that is geared to ensuring you and the pet are a great match. There is a contract to sign at the end of the process. Adoption fees are as follows:

Puppies 0-6 months: $150
Adult dogs 6 months or older: $75

The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations (which can include Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza and Bordetella), spay/neuter surgery, deworming treatment, initial heartworm preventative, a rabies tag, Free health examination within fourteen days of the adoption thanks to our partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, a leash and a microchip. Dogs over 6 months of age are also given a heartworm test (SNAP occult). Free week of training through Good Pup.

Also included is a free week of training through Good Pup.
