Riot is a big beautiful sweet Plott Hound boy (weighs about 65 pounds and is about 3.5 years old) who has lived a largely miserable life. He was beaten by his first human. Then he was put in a pen with absolutely no shelter and no attention for years. Then neighbors started feeding him and made sure he had a plastic dog house. Never went to a Vet for anything. His best friend is Paisley, a beautiful Catahoula Leopard Dog girl (about 53 pounds and 3.5 years old) who was kept on a logging chain because she can climb fences. Over the years they had several litters of puppies. Lord only knows what became of those babies. Their person became very ill and agreed that the neighbors could find a home or rescue for them. That is how they came to Tramp's Rescue. They both went to the Vet for vaccinations, Heartworm and Tickborne testing, spayed, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, ears medicated, nails trimmed, etc...Miraculously they were NEGATIVE for Heartworms, but were treated for tickborne. Riot is submissive, sweet, playful and so handsome. He is good on the leash. Crate trained. He has a very very loud bark. Paisley is high energy , EXTREMELY playful, crate and house trained, wants constant human companionship. Riot loves Paisley, and if they can find a home together, that would be AMAZING, otherwise, looking to find him a kind, caring, responsible loving forever home.
