My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Molly — Waiting Far Too Long for a Home of Her Own 🐾

For over six long years, Miss Molly has watched other dogs come and go — wagging tails heading off to forever homes — while she’s been quietly waiting, day after day, for someone to choose her.

Miss Molly is 7 years old, calm-natured, gentle, and endlessly loyal. She came to the rescue as a young pup... and somehow, was never picked. She’s grown up here, dreaming of soft beds, quiet mornings, and someone to love her back.

She knows her commands. She listens well. She’s not asking for much — just a place to rest her head, a human to share her heart with, and maybe a small kiddie pool on a hot summer day, where she can splash and smile like the puppy she never got to be.

She prefers to be your one and only, the center of your world — and in return, she’ll make you the center of hers. She doesn’t need excitement. She needs peace, love, and a couch where she can finally just be home.

Miss Molly isn’t giving up, but she’s waited so long. She’s been patient. Hopeful. But she deserves more than hope — she deserves a chance.

If you’re looking for a calm, soulful companion — someone who will be your quiet shadow and your loyal friend — please consider Miss Molly. She’s not just another rescue dog. She’s the one who's been overlooked for far too long.

Will you be the one who finally sees her?

Additional adoption info

We require an in-person application for all dogs and cats. A home visit will be required for larger dogs, who require a fenced in yard. Our animals are only adopted out after they have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Our adoption fees are $90 for cats and $110+ for dogs. Puppies are $130. Cash, check, credit or debit card are all accepted. Sometimes the fee will be higher for a dog, if it is a purebred. We would like to keep our adoptions local; in the event the adoption does not work out, the animal must come back to us. Adopters must sign an agreement to this effect. We do consider out of state adopters, please phone us before coming. We are a private rescue. Please be patient if we take a little time to respond.

Those adopting a cat must bring a carrier to transport the cat home safely.
