Chulo von Kern is a very handsome 2.5 year old classic looking German Shepherd. Chulo came in with his friend Bonita, they were given up by the same family because they lost their home. He is just as affectionate as Bonita is and they take turns snuggling up to the volunteers. Chulo is on the larger side, he's a looker for sure. The 2 dogs are so attached, we want to place them together. Chulo is very protective of Bonita (when other dogs are around) but he's wonderful with people. He's probably not the right dog for the dog park and should be watched with other dogs around. These 2 will make a wonderful pair for a family looking for 2 dogs.
