Hey there, I'm Leo, a yellow tabby with super soft fur that'll make you want to pet me all day long. Don't let the scar tissue in my eye fool you - it's just a battle wound that I'm not ashamed to show off. I'm a shy guy at first, but once I trust you, you'll see that I'm a total sucker for pets and head rubs (I love to give head bonks and rub my face on yours at feeding time). I'm not a huge fan of being picked up and carried around, but who needs that noise?
I'm a cool cat that gets along really well with other feline friends and older, quiet kiddos who know not to chase me around. Oh, and did I mention that I'm FIV+? But don't let that scare you off - I'm a healthy and happy cat who can live a long life with lots of love and good care. I can even live with other cats (even those without FIV).

Dogs range from $250 to $350. High demand puppies and small dogs may be more.
This fee includes: felv/fiv/heartworm testing, worming, flea and ear mite treatments, age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, lab work, dental or other medical or surgical treatments as deemed necessary by our team of veterinarians and a microchip with free registration.

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.
We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
