Meet Bear (TX)! His family has hit hard times and Bear is looking for a new forever home.  He was born into rescue in May 2019 to our Texas mamma Daisy Mae.  As a 50-pound heeler mix, Bear needs a good amount of daily exercise and attention, so he's looking for an active adopter who isn't gone too long, and who has the time and patience to help him continue to be his best self.  He's friendly with people, but can be startled by sudden movements and noises, so a home in the suburbs with a fenced-in yard and perhaps older children would be best. And no cats for Bear, please!  Bear is housebroken, crate trained, neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  If you would like to give Bear (TX) a home of his own, please fill out an application at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org
