My story

Mia is white and brown tabby colored. She is the mother to Sam and Sky. Mia is a sweet cat that loves lots of love. She loves cleaning her kittens and loves to cuddle. In the pictures, she is the kitty on the left, her kittens are on the right and in the background. She has a loud purr and often turns on her back and lifts her paws up for you to stroke her. She gets along well with both other cats and dogs. Cats adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv/FIV and they are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Adult cat adoption donations are $125, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Southern California residents only, we do not adopt to residents not within driving distance of our adoption centers. Please visit our website, www.felineundergroundrescue.com to submit an application.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require an application to be filled out and approved prior to selecting an adopter for the animal. Once approved, the applicant is matched to an appropriate pet for their lifestyle and an adoption agreement is completed. We do have adoption fees associated with the adoption of most of our animals to cover medical and supply costs.

Go meet their pets

Some of our adoptable cats are at the Cat Adoption Center inside the Temecula Petsmart, 32413 Temecula Parkway, Temecula CA 92592.
Other cats and kittens are in foster homes that can arrange a visit upon approval of the application.

More about this rescue

Feline Underground Rescue was created in order to fill a need in the Inland Empire community that exists because too many unwanted or abandoned cats and kittens are being needlessly euthanized in shelters. We have started this new nonprofit animal rescue group so that we can rescue many of these cats and kittens either directly from the shelters or before they are turned in to a shelter in order to save their lives, provide them the necessary medical care and prepare them for adoption.
Our adoptable cats and kittens will go to their FURever homes having been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia, and treated for fleas and worms while being lovingly cared for in a network of foster homes and adoption centers run by volunteers. Potential adopters will be carefully screened via an application process which our Board of Directors will design with certain parameters to adhere to.
Our network of foster families specializes in nursing back to health the sick or underage kitties that often do not get the opportunity to be adopted in shelter situations. Volunteers of all ages and stages of life will be welcomed and trained in the areas they can comfortably provide their services to our organization in order to serve the community.
