My story

Fitzgerald came to us as an owner surrender. It wasnâ€™t that his family didnâ€™t love him, they definitely did. But Fitzgeraldâ€™s human sister had severe allergies that couldnâ€™t be controlled and his family had to make the heartbreaking decision to give him up. Fitz would do best in a home without young children or other pets. He is an affectionate, loyal dog once he warms up to you. But he needs a structured home and a savvy adopter, experienced with his breed, that is willing to work with him. He is so much fun and loves to explore and to play.

Our primary goals are to place our adoptable pets in loving, caring homes and to educate the public on responsible pet ownership including why spay/neuter is so important.
