Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Stevie the Wonder Dog, but you can call me Stevie for short. “I just called… to say… I love you… and I mean it… from the bottom of my heart..”
Alas, I digress. I'm a 5-month-old Australian Shepherd mix. Just a pup! I'm so fluffy with the softest, most pet-able fur.
Just like my multi-talented, award-winning namesake, I was born blind (we think because the people who surrendered me were using bad breeding practices), BUT that doesn't limit me! I consider myself a puppy prodigy! I have mastered my foster family’s backyard, including that stray sock one of my foster siblings snuck out on the grass. I may bump into things at first, but I quickly learn where objects are.
And, boy oh boy, do I have a great sense of smell! Especially when my food is placed in front of me.
AND, I a LOVE!! My foster mom and dad always say they don't remember the last time they had such an affectionate pup! I've even heard them say that I'm the “goodest boy”.
Right now, I live with a plethora of other pooches, ranging in weight from 15 to 60 pounds and ages 2-10. I get along great with all of them. I especially love my foster sister who's a miniature schnauzer. She's two and has almost as much energy as me.
I can't wait to meet you, snuggle up, and let you know that you're my favorite human. I mean, “that’s what friends are for”, right?
