Edgar, aka Mr. Ed, is a handsome DSH black male approximately 12 years old.

Hi, my name is Ed, and I need your help. My previous owner’s living arrangements have suddenly changed, and he can no longer care for me where he is located. I am looking for a safe and quiet home where I can take refuge and offer love and companionship in exchange for room and board. Loud noises scare me, so I am not really suited for a household with young children. I am not a fan of other cats and dogs, so will need a home where I am the only pet.

I enjoy calm human interaction and conversation, although I am a much better listener than a talker. I love to be pet, and I either rub my head up against my care-giver or gently tap my paw on his or her arm to get my point across. Small tidbits of chicken are always welcome as an occasional treat…that is my favorite!

Concerning my health and physical condition - I am overall healthy, while I must point out that I have an old mysterious injury on my right front foot. It doesn’t seem to hurt me anymore and I surprisingly get around just fine in spite of the slight physical deformity. I just can’t climb with it now, so any tree climbing or outdoor events are completely out of the question for me.

I am very low maintenance and I don’t need much space at all. I have even happily lived in an RV for nearly half a year… so I seriously don’t ask for much! I value love and security over anything.
