My story

SEEKING A FAMILY FOR A LIFETIME OF COMPANIONSHIPDOLLY is looking for someone with an abundance of love and cuddles to give because she will return it in spades!

Dolly is a shepherd/lab mix with beautiful brown and gold coloring.  Pictures do not do her justice!  She is playful and funny. She loves playing with the other dogs or just playing with her toys by herself. She loves the water and spends lots of time in her kiddie pool in the yard.  She will lay on her bed or on the floor below your feet if you are chilling out.  (She would join you on the sofa if that were allowed in her new home!)

Dolly is reliably house trained with a doggy door.  She sleeps in the bedroom on her doggy bed, she is crate trained and stays in her crate when her foster mom is not home.   Of course she would need patience to adjust to the routine in a new home.

Dolly Is the best of both worlds, she has all the puppy antics but has exceptional house manners.

Dolly has been spayed and has had her full series of vaccines, including her rabies.  She is on a heart worm preventative and a flea and tick preventative.  Dolly has been micro chipped.  She is a happy and healthy little girl.  Dolly is waiting to meet her forever family!

If you are interested in Dolly, please complete the application so we can get to know a little about you.  This does not obligate you to anything it merely lets us know if Dolly is a good fit for your family.

The adoption fee is $100.next week.

Important PLEASE read if interested in adoption:

We have a pretty open adoption policy, apartments, unfenced yards, and young kids are okay, but only if the pet you are interested in is a good fit for that situation!!! Some dogs may require a fence of a certain type and height, due to safety, the breed or known history. We are looking for pet parents that provide vet care such as routine vaccines for their pets and heart worm prevention for dogs. Please understand we do cross check vet references and landowners/landlord policies and cannot process applications with incomplete or incorrect information.

We ask that you take your newly adopted dog for a vet exam in the first 30 days to establish with your vet, obtain their heart worm prevention prescriptions and have a fecal exam administered  (some pets may need additional de-womer after leaving our care).

Please submit a  Pre-Adoption Questionnaire by clicking the hyperlink (if visible) or visiting  Our Home Page to the application link  to show your interest in adoption. Only submit one app for any of our dogs, your app will be on file for at least 1 year. This questionnaire simply helps inform us if the dog you are interested in might match your families' dynamics based on what we have learned about that dog. All of our pets at True Friends Animal Rescue are featured on Our Home Page and can be accessed from our web listings.  Take a look as there may be more than one in our rescue that you like.  If you don't find the information you are needing thru our websites, please submit an E-mail.
